- Advanced depth imaging
- Final subsurface image rendering
Our Image-Driven approach to geophysics is unique in the industry. Rather than being driven by equipment utilization concerns, GXT attacks the problem in reverse and has its imaging experts work backwards through the seismic workflow.
We start by working closely with oil & gas companies early-on to define the imaging objective, including defining any constraints or challenges that must be overcome. With our client needs clearly established, we then work backwards through the seismic workflow to select the appropriate mix of processing applications, acquisition technologies, and survey design parameters that will optimize the image for our oil & gas customers.
In the ISS business model, GXT outsources field acquisition to experienced seismic contractors, thereby utilizing existing industry capacity. By working in partnership with experienced seismic contractors in ISS projects, ION aligns with the priorities and objectives of both oil & gas companies and acquisition contractors, focuses on the value-added elements of the seismic workflow, and delivers solutions with minimal capital intensity and asset utilization burden.
Integrated Seismic Solutions are offered in two formats:
- Multi-client - to generate differentiated, high-quality 2-D, 3-D, and BasinSpan data libraries for multiple oil & gas companies, often in the early stages of basin-level assessment and exploration
- Proprietary - to further customize the imaging program for a single oil & gas company client, generally during the field appraisal and development stages
ISS programs have been designed and delivered for leading E&P companies in major hydrocarbon basins around the world, including the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, and Caribbean basin.
